Founded in 1920, SFCS Inc. provides professional services in the disciplines of architecture, engineering, planning, and interior design from our offices in Charlotte, NC, Philadelphia, PA, and Roanoke, VA. Specializing in the design of senior living, education, health care, corporate, and government facilities, our staff of over 70 brings together a unique group of talented designers and technicians to develop innovative, cost-effective designs for clients nationwide.

Our architects, engineers, and interior designers keep their professional training updated through memberships in the American Institute of Architects, American Society of Civil Engineers, American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers, Illuminating Engineering Society, American Society of Plumbing Engineers, Construction Specifications Institute, and the American Society of Interior Designers. We also have LEED® Accredited Professionals on staff.

SFCS is active in the American Association of Homes & Services for the Aging (AAHSA) and its state subsidiaries, as well as the Mid-Atlantic region of the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP). We make presentations to share our specialized design experience and serve on committees to support these and related industry associations.
