SFCS Becomes Member of USGBC
SFCS is now a proud member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Our dedication and support of sustainability is a way of business for us. It is inherent in all of our services and is a standard practice in every project of ours.
Design Studio Sponsorship with Virginia Tech
SFCS picked a team as the winner for this year's Sponsored Studio. The team called there project “aura”, utilizing technology that is used for fireman air tanks, creating a smaller, lighter, more portable air tank. They fashioned one of the “air cells” into a tablet sized side pouch sling, that could be carried over the shoulder. Visit our Facebook page to see "aura."
In memory of Curtis R. Jennings, Jr. SFCS has partnered with Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) School of Architecture + Design to sponsor a design studio dedicated to improving the lives of seniors. SFCS has made a commitment to this initiative with every expectation that this will perpetuate and turn into a major part of our brand and culture.
