SFCS was also honored with the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year - Legacy Award. This award was from the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce and was presented at their 28th Annual Small Business Awards ceremony. Eligibility required companies to have been operating continuously for 50+ years and be headquartered in the Greater Roanoke Valley region.  We were judged based on (1) Evolution: how the company has evolved and adapted in the past 50+years, (2) Increase in Sales and/or Unit Volume: proof of continued growth, (3) Growth in Number of Employees: the impact of the business on the job market, (4) Innovativeness of Product or Service Offered: how our business is unique and innovative, and (5) Contributions by Business to Community-Oriented Projects: ways in which the business has contributed to the community to overcome social or environmental problems.

SFCS is excited and honored to receive these two prestigious awards.
